THE NEW BLACK

My take on a cosmetic advertisement poster. I noticed that most cosmetics are targeted towards women and marketed in a very similar, boring way. I wanted to create a fresh twist and decided to illustrate it with a retro-futuristic style that was normally associated with boys.

 

The concept is to promote a set of eyeshadow palettes for mothers and their daughters, carefully curated with bold colors. "Color is the new black" means that colors are just as trendy as black and will never go out of style. With this palette, color is the new neutral.
